Front Garden

I created a new design for the front garden. A contractor was used to remove the dated crazy paving, and installed a new structure of limestone flagstones with brick surrounds, to echo the attractive brickwork in the house. Myself and assistant then planted up the new borders with an exotic planting style. I installed a new irrigation system. 

​Back Garden

I was called in to create an Exotic Plant Design for the back garden which had recently been structurally designed and freshly landscaped, in effect, I had a blank canvas to plant up. So, with delight, myself and the clients worked on a design that evoked the tropics. We used many of the usual suspects including hardy bananas, gingers, cordylines, palms, tree ferns, cannas, bamboos, arundo donax, tetrapanex and added a collection of perennials including salvias, hemerocallis, heucheras and some annuals like solenostemon for colour.  It's such a pleasure to continually revisit and see the growth (!), and do some intermittent maintenance. I also installed an irrigation system for the back.
