"Joe listened to our detailed requirements and incorporated them into a unique design, adapting it in accordance with our feedback. He managed the subcontracting and delivery of the hard landscaping, in consultation with us, sourced the agreed plants, planted most of them and took necessary steps to ensure they became established.
Joe was flexible in his approach, incorporating the plants and trees we had brought with us and agreeing to share the planting process. He made good suggestions at different stages of the process but left final decisions to us.
Joe was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. We are delighted with the results."

"In the initial stages of our two small garden project Joe spent time understanding what we wanted to achieve before researching options to deliver our objectives. Joe presented his plans for landscaping, planting, lighting and costs in a manner that we could understand. He was flexible when objectives changed. He sourced first rate landscapers and electricians and coordinated their work to completion and within budget.
The result after 6 months is wonderful and we have been able to enjoy the gardens through the summer. Next year we are expecting the established plantings to be even better.
Joe has been a pleasure to work with and we continue to keep in contact when Joe has offered ongoing advise on plant maintenance."

"After having moved into a 1920s bungalow, Joe and his team transformed the neglected field of a back 'garden' into a professionally designed, beautifully landscaped showpiece. Featuring rose beds, thoughtfully designed well stocked borders, making good use of existing stock, and adding new, currently providing endless pleasure which is now maturing. Top quality fencing also installed, tricky to do but excellent result. Couldn't have asked for more, 100% recommend...and looking forward to same treatment in the front garden next month!

"Joe helped redesign our courtyard garden in Hastings last year, and we are thrilled with the results. He understood the look and feel we were after, retaining some existing features but enhancing it with all new flooring, raised beds for increased planting area, plus a simple iron pergola - all within a limited space and budget. He was so easy to work with and brought his gentle persuasion and botanical knowledge to a high quality finish, including unexpected revisions (caused by a hidden drain system) and overseeing the build by BG Landscapes and Hannington Gilbert lighting - who both did a really good job. Would highly recommend."

Joe spent several hours talking to me at the design stage to gain a real understanding of what I liked and how I wanted my garden to look. I now have the most glorious garden, only in its first year, with a fabulous colour palette and amazing planting. Joe and his team worked so hard - long hours, sometimes into the dark and sometimes in the most awful weather, but he always turned up on time and worked on until the job was done.
